Honestly, Fabs...I had no idea mine went to f32 either! I actually had to go and look when I issued the challenge! Had the 40D for a year and a half and never knew...

This is lovely...I'm assuming that's a pool of water but it's so irridescent it really is playing tricks on my eyes. Nicely done!

    Hey Fabs,
Oh yeah!!!....welcome to our world. I'm with Mike.....no way you get that sharpness and detail (water looks like crystal).....with a shallow DOF. Great design will shine through no matter what DOF you use.

    Hola Fabs.

Love the details you achieved here. Those veins in this leaf are so interesting! Great composition and welcome to DOF.

It seems to be a lotus leaf, and there you have the "lotus effect" :) Because of the properties of the lotus leaf, the water can't adhere to it's surface...Very nice details, and the water looks like ice! I like it a lot!

    OK,
I really had a tough time with this as I felt many people stepped out of their comfort zone and peformed very well.....so this one compositionally was exquisite......and because I am a huge fan of f32.....and this is your first.....You are the winner!

Thanks very much guys, although I'm not the final winner, I feel very honored :)

And I must admit I liked the f/32 bit too :)
