    Default Memorial Day Purple Martin

    Image made at Robert is Here fruit stand in Florida City. Couple of Martin houses and can be a good spot, today there was little wind and didn't get all that many chances but came up with a few. Liked this one with the flag being Memorial Day !!!

    Alfred, Really nice to get the flag backdrop for this week! Love the fanned tail and wing position-Did you get a shake?

    Like artie said the scene is a little contrasty but the idea and photo are really nice nontheless. Love the wing position! Nicely done

    Very appropriate, like the purple iridescent color, not easy to see and shoot...

    A very meaningful shot ! I personally would like to see the belly a bit "brighter". Understandably, as is, it is what's it's like to the eyes.

    Wolly, Do understand that tbe BKGR was not at all "coincidental." Alfred sawthe way the birds were flying, saw the flag, saw the possible juxtapositio, planned the image, and executed the plan.
