SanDisk Fire Wire Card Reader

I have had this card reader for about a year now. More than happy with it. However, just this weekend, when I put my card in, that blue light just flickers, instead of staying a solid blue. The icon never appears on my desktop.
For some reason, it seems to have trouble reading my card. I tried another card as well, same result.

Anyone else have this problem? I have a reader with a USB. Takes a lot longer, but it does read my images.

Try to have it RMA'd.

I've had mine do that a couple of times - unplugging and replacing the cable seems to sort it out.

Hi Dan It might be toast? btw in speed difference if you can use a firewire 800 it is huge with the new cards !!!!

Thanks for the help. May have to just get a new one. Tried to contact Sandisk, but no reply. I think their customer service needs a lot of help!
