Very nicely composed, Adam. I'd make ethe right eye darker selectively, to try and even out the one in the shade.

Great gator image Adams. Really like that you can see the "smile" underwater. Just waiting for some unsuspecting soul. I agree with Fabs about trying to even out the lighting on the eyes. Just a small change would greatly benefit the image.
