I used a photo of a pair of sleeping ducks taken few years back for creating this. Just cropped and cloned away some floating twigs and used adjustment layers for saturation and selective color. Added the Chinese calligraphy and chop and then extended the border to make it look like a traditional Chinese wall hanging. Hope you like it. C&C welcome.

Indranil, I think the long vertical does look Asian to me. I am not sure I would put the ducks in the center of the composition-Might take a bit off the top, colors and border look good-

Indranil, I really like the "scroll" wall hanging canvas here! All elements work for me, peacefull subject, comp, chop placement and canvas ratio are all good. I would leave the empty space at the top, as this is a nice negative space for the viewers mind to wander in! IMO! I uploaded this image and only added a bit of master saturation, which warmed the ducks and tree branches. It's a minor change but seems to be pleasing. You might play with that!

Indranil, What I like most about this weeks Theme is that I feel like I am learning so much about Asian art-I will keep in mind the critique that Dan gave as I compose my next post! Once again we are lucky to have him here at BPN!
