Our red banana tree was hit by some cool weather this winter even though I did my best to prevent it. Here's an image of one leaf after some much needed rain. I was not able to control the placement of the rain drops.
Canon EOS- 1D, Sigma 180 mm AF APO EX DX macro with tripod. This was taken in natural light on an overcast day. My exposure was 1/ 25 sec. @f/ 13.0 ISO 800. It was processed with D.P.P. 3.5 and PS/CS4.
Neat image, Charles! I really like that you didn't over sharpen it...that happens so often when we try to get the water drops just right. I think it's perfect just like this.
Nice contrasting colors and I really like the diagonal comp.
The diagonal line makes this one for me. Those water drops are fine but I guess fill flash would have help by adding flare to them. By the way, there are no banana trees, just banana plants that I know, are bizarre huge plants :)
