Assignment: Color - “A Twist Of Lime”

This is compliment of Pops’ garden. The leaf was painted with a Nikon D3, using a Nikkor 200mm f/4 D IF-ED macro lens, with a 12mm extension tube.

    Image Solution:
focal length @ 200mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / in camera matrix metering / 1/250sec. - f/40 / exposure comp @ +0.3EV / ISO @ 400 / white balance @ custom profile using Expo disc for color calibration / AF - Mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution – ambient light / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / support platform - tripod assist, with macro focusing rail and remote electronic trigger release.

    Comments greatly appreciated...

I think you have been doing some excellent graphic comps, but this one IMO has
too much negative space on the left of frame. Also where you have been selectively sharpening,
there is always a grouping of sharpening artifacts....just overdone.

Here is a suggestion, cropped and a lt mauve to lime green gradient applied
I give these comments as honest critique
