    Great detail in the shoulders and wings. Nice catch on the expression too. Seems a tiny bit soft at the head.

    I like the wing blur and ripples in the flight feathers - great colours and expression on the face - would be nice to try and get a bit more detail out of the dark areas.

    Quite an intense look on it's face...and a nice dramatic pose. That black ain't easy, but you did fairly well. You might consider using some fill-flash next time.

    I like the eye contact and details but would have gone to f/8 or so for higher shutter speed.

    Axel, would you still get wing blur at 1/2000 sec?
