    Default Yellow Warbler

Made this image this evening near my house. Heard him singing, did a quick simple setup and got lucky.

Wow!! I really like this. The background is beautiful, great capture of the action, composition is good, well exposed, sharp.

I agree, wow! I love this image for the composition and the technicals look spot on. The bird pose is perfect and the leaves are unusual and very beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Really nicely done Bryan. I like how most of the plant is in focus also. Bird looks spot on. Very nice. Dave

That's a heck of an interesting perch. I like how you stopped down to f/9. Having the leaves in this much focus really make this nice.

I like the sharpness, details and the colors. The composition is good, too. Ideally though, I think it would be better if the leaves and the branches are not touching the frame.

Superb job Bryan. The soft light is simply fantastic, sweet Bg and fantastic singing pose and eye contact. Exposure is nailed. From a compositional point of view I would place the bird just a litle bit towards the upper right corner and, in a perfect world, I would prefer not having the perch croped at the left side but, man, this image is outstanding. Very, very good job :-)

Goodness, Bryon! What a beautiful portrait of this bird...the BG and perch all add to the image overall and the singing pose is a real plus. Nicely done!

I like this a lot! Great perch, singing pose, details and BG. Composition looks good, too. The shape of the leaves puts it over the top for me.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. The "plant" is the new growth portion of sapplings of Sumac Trees. The color of the stem and leaves changes to all green as the new branch and leaves become fully developed.
