    Here's another photo in a series of my orchid collection. I used diffused light with no flash. I was unable to get all flower blooms in the same plane. Its just the way orchids are. I still like the results.

    This image was processed with DPP 3.5 and PS CS4. Canon EOS-1D, Sigma 180 mm APO EX DX f/ 3.5 macro lens and tripod. My exposure was 1/2 sec. @ f/ 13.0 and 320 ISO.

    Hey Charlie, I like the comp with the three flower. Good details, color and black BG works well.

    Excellent! I can't tell what's not in the focal plane - at least without taking it and scrutinizing it at 100% magnification. I think you did a beautiful job and did quite well with your choice of f13.

    Hey Charles,
    I think you did well with the f-stop....looks pretty sharp. I do realize that you can't get the blooms always the way you want as it is the nature of the orchid......I had the same problem with mine! Well handled and the lighting is very nice.
