    Asiatic Dowitcher Limnodromus semipalmatus

    Captured a few weeks ago at the mudflat of Deep Bay bordering mainland China. A large flock of AD was passing through Hong Kong at the peak of the shorebird spring migration north.

    EOS-1D Mk II, EF500/4L IS + EF1.4x
    Manual, ISO 320, 1/1250s, f/7.1

    Love the sharpness and the dorsal views but too many merges for me. It is, however, good to see you posting here.
