Lovely, nice atitude, light, colors and detail, comps is nice as well as the water wich looks great, I would only suggest to tone down the bright areas in the water just a tad.
    Congratulations!

Hi Fabs! Lovely water colors and a very unique pose make this a cool image. The composition works well. I would still like to see the beak and I would also tone down the whites in the water just a touch:)

    Fabs:

Very nice. The water color on this is yummy. I agree with Ramon and David about the bright areas.

I tweaked it a bit, and tried to bring in the same color in the bow wake as was in the tail wake.

May not be what you were after, but I thought it was an interesting variant.

    Hmmmm, interesting repost, Randy, thanks!

Actually what I liked about this was the colors, the gold and the contrasting silver of the water.
Nothing written about taste, though :)

    Thanks all for your comments!

Fabs, something different, and I like this. Amazing colours, and love the partially submerged head. Well done for posting OOTB.

    Fabs:

I have learned a lot from your posts, and for me one of the most important things is to try and look at images from a variety of ways, to be creative in color and composition. That was the motivation for my version :).

    The original is mighty fine.

    Cheers

Fantastic! I love the fact the the Spoonies beak is under water. The water colors are great, but the patterns in the water are what make this image special for me.

Double ditto all of the above. Love the ORIG and the re-post. Darkening the pupil will increase the apparent sharpness.

I love the uniqueness of this image, Fabs - with the behavior and water colors. I think I prefer the original post.
