I like the fish, and water droplets. However the light angle is horrible (backlit) and the BG is too bright. The stones are also distracting. Next time try to have the light at your back. Might have to go wading :)

    Keep them coming

I do have chest waders, but that part of the lake is more of a swim. =) Not that it mattered....at any other angle the rocks would have obstructed the action.

    Thanks for the C&C.

Hi CL. What is your name?

Yes, moving left and getting lower would have been great if possible as it would have eliminated the merge between the bird's head and the rock and given you a much better angle to the head and the action. When we offer sugggestions here, we are assuming that all things are equal, that is, the you could have moved left and/or at least lower. When doing so we do realize that what we suggest might not be possible.
BTW, I do like the backlight here.

Yes, all things equal are assumed. I notice many times suggestions on this forum couldn't possibly have been implemented, like angles/eye contact....etc. However, those things are great to keep in mind and try to achieve. The scrutiny of others has made me more critical of my photographs and I appreciate it.

    Thanks for your comment!
