    Default ground squirrel

I was walking on a pasture looking for some horse pictures. But someone else was also around, so I spent a while laying on the ground near the burrow and finally he was coming out.

Love the low shooting angle - and the peek a boo pose. Great Colours, sharp as a tack and like the little purple flowers.
Like it a lot - big congrats :)

This is a sweet capture...I like the peek-a-boo pose and the ultra low capture angle...the color rendition is good and so are the details...good show...:) How long did you have to wait for this little guy to come out of his home? :D:cool:

    Thanks for comments.
Well, after about 15 min the upper part of the head and the eye show up. He was carefully watching around. After that I was waiting another 10-15 min hoping that he will show himself more. And he did. The second part was... a "lifetime" for me.:)

I love this little guy, he would make a great character for a children's book. The low angle really makes it.
