Lovely posture. I like the intense look and the sunlight catching the eye. Nicely done! Looks like you guys had a good time at Giants?

Cool pose, with great eye contact Dave. I like the ruffled feather detail from the top of the wings, and the colours in the BG are amazing. Well captured.

I like the disheveled look of the bird's plumage. I wish the eye contact were a little better. The BG is nice, but I would tone down the rocks a bit.

Awesome flight pose in this capture and I love the composition with the clean BG and the touch of rock in the lower left. Congratulations Dave and many thanks for sharing.

Love the head turn, BG and pose of the bird. The rocks in the lower left corner are a very good balancing element in the composition. I think that the image show little contrast instead of the fact that the light seems to be very intense. Did you run the highlight/shadow filter on the image?
    Very good job :-)

Thanks to all for looking and for comments.
Juan I did reduce the contrast with shadows/highlights.
