    Default Great White Pelican

I am still browsing my old files and playing with Aperture. Nice to have it again :)
I have already posted some images from my last year trip to the Danube River Delta, Romania, Eastern Europe.
The boating in the lagoons are fantastic and providing nice chances to get closer to the birds. This image was taken in a very early light of a Great White Pelican taking off.

Unfortunately I could not use any tripod equipment so I had to handhold the 600mm :D I tried to do my best to fix it.

Amazing light, exposure, pose, comp, nice BG/ambient, I only wish to see it bigger :)

Great light, landing pose, and BG. I agree that it would be great to see a larger image.

Love the light, pose, and water droplets. Ditto on the image size.

    Well done!

Another vote to see it bigger! Apart from eliminating the brighter reflections on the flank and bill this is superb as is...great habitat. Great techs too, very well done.

Although I'm not a fan of the wing position, I like the habitat and light very much, well done!

Well timed for the take off, and love the trailing droplets. Good exposure too.
