    A recent sunset from the deck at home.

    D300, 18-200VR at 60mm., hand-held, ISO 1600, 1/400, f/7.1, pattern metering, Noise Ninja applied. Colors were not altered. I realised afterwards that I probably should have used a much lower ISO and a slower shutter speed + tripod, but I thought it was a reasonable- enough image to post anyway.

    Hey Richard,
    You got some awesome colors in the sky......as usual....we aren't in front of some grand scene at the time! I like the way you tried to get a strong silhouette but I'm not sure it is strong enough overall. Judging the scene not sure you could even get total seperation of 1 tree so you did the best you could. Not a wow image....but handled very well and it is quite the view!
