    Stuart:

Excellent exposure, held the whites beautifully. The light was off to your left a bit, and the slight shadowing on the head and neck really rounds out the bird. Good head angle. I like the subtle beads of water.

    BG color and eye match.

I might knock down the sheen on the upper mandible a bit.

    Thanks for sharing!

The detail are great and the whites are very well exposed. Lovely eye colours.

Very nice set up witht he bgt Stuart. Nice contrast. I wonder if a bit more detail would be there if whites were toned down a tad. Very nicely done. Dave

I like the details and colors. The light looks a bit harsh and I might remove the sheen on the bill.

Love the way the eye matches the BG perfectly. That doesn't happen to often in bird photography. You did well exposing the whites here. I don't necessarily disagree with cleaning up the bill a bit. It just depends on your own personal preferences. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful whites! Excellent sharpness. I like how the blue of the eye matches the blue of the water. I'd remove the specular highlights.
