    Default COLOR ASSIGNMENT

    This is a close-up of an amaryllis in my yard that I took last year. I don't remember the conditions so I have no
    idea what I was doing with the settings. Sharpened in PS and blurred the bg for noise.

    Canon 30D
    Canon 100mm Macro lens, 1/200, f/6.3, ISO 125, -.7ev

    Comments and suggestions greatly appreciated!:)

    cheryl, the focal point looks perfect for me. sharp and soft where needed. i might desat the reds just a tick. i think they are hot.

    Harold- thanks - I rechecked and the reds are oversat. I desatur. but don't know how to repost corrected
    version - do I wait until tomorrow?

    This is really lovely, Cheryl. I like the texture, good focal point and rich, rich color. Your repost really rocks!

    Good re post Normally the red channel gets overcooked all on its own !!!

    Which you could have moved the camera down/right to get some separation in those endings I like it a lot Great feel and well composed !!!
