    Heading to do some shorebirds this weekend and looked through some old files and found this I had forgotten about !! btw image is from Merritt Island Second pond on the right.

    Hi Alfred,

    The bird's wing detail came out nice. The white on the heads is a wee bit hot on my LCD screen and also has a bit over-sharpened look. Hope you are doing well.

    I agree with Jeff's comments above. The symmetry of the bird's pose gives a pleasing effect. I might run some NR on the wings.

    Great flight angle captured. Ditto over-sharpen that caused a slight halo.

    Alfred, a second look shows a halo around the legs as well.

    I like the wing position and agree regarding noisy wings and S/H halo.

    Hi Axel Maybe you can figure the mystery S/H was not used at all in the image and sharpening (very light) was done on the bird only and contracting three pixels? ... any clue?
