    Default Its Baby Time !

Its the nesting period here in Singapore and due to my heavy workload.....managed to find only this Olive-Backed Sunbird nest.

Good light, detail and colours on the little guy, and love the open beak. Comp works fine, although I may take a bit off the bottom. Pity about the light spots in the BG.

Lovely sharpness and detail and the open beak is great, Mervin. Image looks to have a yellow cast on my monitor. I would be tempted to crop a little to remove the yellow at the top as I find it pulls my eye from the bird. Blurring out the BG is also an option to smooth out the light spots noted by Stuart. How does this version look?

Repost does look much better colorwise, I love the comp, BG, atitude, detail, and natural moment captured here! Congratulations!

Nicely done Mervin. I prefer a bit off the top to take out the bright yellow spot. Repsot may be a tad cool for me. Very nice setting. Well done. Dave

I agree about the color cast--too yellow--but would leave the yellow at the top as it moves the viewer's eye around the frame....
