This was taken about a year ago. it is cropped over 50%. Actually, there were many more birds in the group. I'm expecting there to be various things wrong with it (birds cut in two, etc.). But does it work on some level? How can it be improved? I'll be interested in comments . . . please fire away . . .

    Wendell,

I love the group image. In my opinion, when there are so many the partials have reduced significant. I really like the habitat shot, nice work.

I am viewing with my work monitor, the exposure looks good from that perspective. Nice mix of tones that supported the zero EV.

Hi Wendell It does work .... cutting birds on the side is unavoidable but you do have a clean bottom ..must !!! These type must be appreciated in large size .... btw I hope you got the blast off !!! :)

I think this is a marvelous image, nice implied action as the crowd pushes forward. In my monitor there seems to be a slight green cast to the whole image that ought to be easily fixed. Might try WB first.

Wendall - I like it a lot. I agree with Gail about the greenish cast but I kind of like it that way.:)

Yes, I was there for the blast off, Alfred . . . quite a sight!

And Gail & Cheryl, I've now corrected the greenish cast . . . i like it both ways, but do prefer the image with the green removed . . .

Nice image, Wendell. That's one big crowd of birds! Might want to crop a tiny bit from the bottom. I tried it with a browser crop and it seemed to better emphasize the crowded nature of the picture.
