    Very interesting species, related to the Eastern Bluebird? You did well with the EXP, in the name of females, what do you mean dull ????? :)

    Whoa! I guess I better clarify myself before I get some nasty emails from the females on this site :D By dull, I meant my featureless sky and perch, not this magnificently colored beautiful female. :) As for relations to the Eastern Bluebird, we have a Western Bluebird that's almost identical to the Eastern species. These Mountain Bluebirds seem a little bigger/longer and have a slightly different shaped beak to my uneducated eye. I do see both species in the same habitat though.

    Steve, I actually like this a lot - why - because of the blue and brown colours, they blend in so well. Lovely simple pose, and sharp.

    Should do well Steve and good luck !!! About all you could have done different is a lower angle but do like it as presented !!!

    You are right about the comp, but all the other factors are very nice IMO. Light, detail, colors, BG, etc.
