Heres another first for me a Northern Mockingbird ,what caught my eye first is that this guy seemed quite content on standing on one leg , i noticed later that he did have two. This one from behind a window as i did not want to scare him off.

you did well with the sidelight. couple of things that stick out to me is that it needs a little more room down below and the bird's eye needs another round of sharpening. you may be able to lighten the shaded right side of the bird and i know you can recover the highlights one the left side of the bird. love the bg. nice and clean.

    Hi Glenn

I think you would need some flash fill for this side light The brunt of the light is on the body and drops quickly across the bird. Maybe it would work better with a different pose !! Do like the sharpness and bg !!!

Hi Glenn, Good HA and BG. Like that you got the head nice and sharp. I think the lighting might work better if the bird was facing into the light rather than away.

Glenn, The lighting is tough but I think you did well. The northern Mockingbird is very striking and you captured a nice one-footed pose. Nice sharpness on the head and lovely BG!

Hi Glenn - techs pretty much covered - angle of light being the main issue, like the BG and Pose and is sharp as a tack.
    keep them coming :)
