    Default Young Osprey

Taking last week at the everglades. There where quite a few of these young birds learning how to fish. Most would come up empty and a few would lose the fish after going airborne. A lot of them ended the day hungry.

Although unconventional, I kind of like the bird's eye view. I wish you'd had a bit more DOF (ISO 400 would have helped you stop down); your focus point seems to be on the far wing. And I would lighten the iris a bit.

I also like the birds eye view. As Doug mentioned the focus is on the far wing. I also wish the light direction was a little better. For this image I might actually crop it a little tighter.

    Keep them coming!!
