    Default Humming birds, Costa Rica

At my first visit to Costa RIca (a short trip) I spend three days with the hummingbirds at Monteverde. This is one of those I like best, because of the interaction. The one most to the left is not perfectly sharp, when you look at the photo in large size, but it doesn't matter - I thought. It's still the one I prefer most.

I like this alot! The colors are stunning! It looks like they have a board meeting or something:) The background is very beatiful and makes the image stand out! Itīs a bit noisy but i think it makes the image better!

Excellent interaction, and having three perching hummingbirds in the same frame is not something we often see. I like the thin moss-sprinkled perch too. I do find the BG somewhat overwhelming especially with the very bright yellows and would also look at the possibilty of toning down the brighter reflections found within (e.g. the one around the right most hummer's haed). I would probably back down the contrast a few points too. Still, a unique photograph that you are rightly fond of :-)

Nice Brutus, I fully agree with you that this is a very nice photograph. Not often do we see three hummers perched, but the light and colours certainly add to that.I love the BG colors and the fact that the left one is unsharp makes it even more interesting (might sound weird...but that's how I feel about this one). Nice!

The golden colored BG makes a great backdrop for the interaction. I'd be very ahppy too if this were mire, very nice image, technicalities or not :)

Bg, perch, light and colors are the thing I have loved the most here, poses are very nice and the interactions is great, I often try to not get too close when I am looking for more DOF.
    Congratulations!

Thanks. I'll see about contrast etcetera when I will be by my desk with a good screen - always make first thing with my laptop.
