This weekend was pretty windy where I live. While in my backyard I decided to put this leave in a bucket of water hoping to shield it from the wind. The wind still got to it some so I had to use a pretty fast shutter speed. What I ended up with was a pretty interesting affect. I shot this with a Canon 5D, Canon 180 mm lens. The shutter was 1/2000 and aperture was F3.5

Hey Gordon, pretty cool look, has a backlit feel in the lighting. I might have angled it a bit more coming out of the corner.

I agree with Mike on the composition..it's nice this way but might have been stronger if the main tip was facing into a corner. Would also like to have seen a bit more DOF - maybe f5.6 instead? Your front half is nicely in focus but the back is blurring a bit too much for me. You might also try to selectively sharpen the waterdrop.
