    Hi Dave,

This is excellent. Great composition, details, DOF and great BG. The eye really stands out!!

Great details, BG and fanned tail but the iridescence puts it over the top for me. A bit more eye contact would have made it even better.

Lovely colors and the iridescence showing make this a very nice image. It oculd use a bit more room around if you have it. Neat BG!

Hey Dave...Great job with good lighting, backround, placement and sharpness. I also feel it could use a bit more room on the bottom and left. Nice image!!

Nicely exposed. I like the pose, the detail in the back feathers, and the color of the BG.

Super pose, and you have exposed this perfectly. Sharp with excellent detail, and love the iridescence.

Dave, Beautiful exposure and details-I like the fanned tail. The duckweed makes a lovely BG!

    Dave:

It has all been touched on. Extremely nice image, the level of details in the blacks is great.

Can't do much better on a grackle than this!

I would agree with Randy - it's all been covered above. Excellent image, Dave.

Very, very nice grackle image Dave. Perfect display of their "true" colours, and awesome pose. I agree with Fabs for a touch more room around, but no biggie. With the head nicely angled towards us I'm confused by the "more eye contact" comment by Axel - perhaps I have a different definiton of what that term means?
