Spent a few hours at Shark Valley this past Saturday and only two birds left; a green Heron and this guy, who I can't seem to find in my Birds of Florida book. So if any of the bird experts out there can id for me, I will be very thankful.

Nice picture, solid exposure techs, I like the -2/3s to protect the whites. This is a challenging exposure, brown on bottom and light/white on top - nice work.

Hi Oz - nice one - pretty much nailed the exposure - interesting looking bird. Little tight at the bottom.
Other than that - Great job:)

Very nice OZ! Only minor nit would be to lighten the eye a tad to keep up with the highlights surrounding it. Love the composition and striding pose!

    Hey Oscar,
This is very nice...I like the composition, image and capture...you have sharp details, good color rendition combined with a spot on head angle and clear sharp eye...well done Sir...keep them coming...

nice light!! the walking pose is cool. would add a little canvas all around if you have it. and btw, contrary to popular belief there are still some birds left in FL. you just have to know where to look!!!:D
