Went to the nursery today to replenish the garden with some annuals. Prior to planting this lovely daisy, I remembered the game we all played growing up. I use to think of my first crush and pull each petal with the hopes of landing on "She loves me." When I turned 30, I finally figured out it doesn't work that way!

As always, your thoughts and comments are appreciated.

Hi there, when I looked at the thumbnail, I thought the space on the right where some of the petal are missing was black :) Anyhow, I like the composition. I would sharpen the flowers a bit though.

And if this photo were mine, I would turn the green background into black, too ;)

I really like the composition of this picture. I like the green background. I would probably darken some of the highlights.

Hey John, very creative on the lack of petal. Good details and the center.

Nice one, John. I personally would have composed it with the missing petal in one of the four corners but this is also nice. Agree that it could use just a bit more sharpness - especially the center area.

Nice whites...good detail and really like the shadow play.
