    Default Just a pink rose...

This beautiful rose has been in a vase in my bedroom for several days...I love the way it is drying.
    ISO 200; 60mm; F3.2; 1/60.
Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions.

    Hi Lady Mirenchu,
Now I can see it...:) I like the base image and capture...a few points to consider...the image is a slightly under exposed. and the colors are on the flat side...I took the liberty of making some adjustments...I cropped tighter all the way around to place more emphasis on the center and eliminating some of the out of focus negative space around it...I increased the saturation and contrast levels just a tad, selective sharpened the edges of the petals, and ran a low intensity pass of noise reduction...see if you like...

Mirenchu, Lovely image and I really like Gus' crop. The rose starting to show an alligator look on the petals from age is special!

Lovely image, Mirenchu. Your posted image has an AdobeRGB profile embedded. That will produce slightly
bland colors on most monitors. For the web, embed an sRGB profile.

I like both versions very much Each has a little different feel Do like the slight crop form the left but might leave more from the right

Interesting image since there are so many possibilities and all are looking good !!!

I particular like the old age feel of the rose. Colors could use a little bump. IMO
    Regards,
