I like taking a P&S With me You never know what will come up and always looking for Friends and Family images :D
Just got the Panasonic DMC-LX2 Have been looking at it since the first incarnation and like it For me the wide end is more important than the long Having equivalent of 28 is a must This also also has a 16:9 aspect ratio
Just started using The quality seems excellent at low ISO Going past 200 would be pushing it It does shoot RAW so I will be experimenting with noise reduction prior to conversion
Any hints of feedback on this camera would be appreciated btw in had the Canon G9 in consideration but do not like the 35 starting point I feel the slightly wider does make a huge difference
I was now planning to buy a G9 for my wife. Don't you recommend it? I thought after reading the reviews (http://www.dpreview.com/news/0710/07...ong9review.asp) that G9 is far better camera than any of the Pana's. (Confused)

I have been using the DMC-LX2 that you just bought for about 6-7 months and love it. Click for a few examples. Best part is the 16x9, and the sharpness and noise are publication quality as long as the image was taken originally with sufficient care and good technique. I love how easy it is to control exposure and compensation.
