    Default Killdeer

Was hoping for pied billed grebes and coot babies but Lake Cunningham (San Jose) was incredibly deserted this morning :-(

At last a few killdeers came roaming around the parking lot. Had to stay put for almost an hour but was rewarded by a (hopefully) decent picture.

    Comments welcome,

Way more than decent. Love the low angle, the sharpness, the perfect EXP, and the plant that balances the COMP.

like this one a lot......Artie mentioned the balance with the plant,
but the slight green tone at top further balances

    Great composition and light.

The green plant and band on top have been mentioned.
    Lovely image.

I like the clarity in this, pin sharp, well exposed, and what a killer BG. Congrats.
