Here we go - Ill kick off this weeks theme of Mini-Worlds.
IQ - doesnt appear to be fantastic on the posted image - original files are very large - hence large reduction in quality to get the 200KB filesize!
D200
Nikon 10.5MM
Nodal Ninja 3 (Pano Head)
8 Shots - 1 every 60 degree's + 1 UP + 1 Down (handheld)
Manual Exposure - averaged over the 6 shots
Manual Focus @ infinity
Images aligned in PTGUI - panorama created (Stereographic down)
Centre patched with handheld down shot from above.
When you start out with these, best to have the centre area a easily patched area in P.S. - so try to avoid patterned area's or area's with lots of intricate detail (this area is where you place the tripod)
You can do these anywhere - experiment with were you setup - setting up close to tree's will give you the branches wrapping around the outside of the image like here.
Been doing these for a while, most of them I do now are for VR Tours for real estate agents.
