That's a better look than I ever got Dan! The bird looks good, although I'd be tempted to adjust the black point a bit. I'd also desaturate the yellows in the BG and perhaps darken it. I would also crop a some off the left. Here's a repost; what do you think? Just realized that this is my 4000th post........I was trying to save it for an image to be posted in the morning. Oh well.

Thanks Doug! Your repost looks good, I actually upped the sat once after previewing my original post, but your's looks good. I will have to revisit the raw (unleash the power!!:D) and crop the file a little tighter.

Dan, This is a lovely image and I like your pose and details, agree w/ Doug to de-sat. yellows. Dan this is minor but in the BG there is a repeat pattern on the right ,middle I would eliminate or blend in. Nice capture !!

Doug, The re-post looks good and worth the 4K !Congrats on that!!

Great sighting Dan, and like the colours on him. Doug's crop works well.

I can relate to trogons and how hard they are to get. Lovely capture there and looks like you had to shoot through a gap under canopy. I am in the Borneo rainforest now on a trip and will post some shots - Diard's trogon taken today.
