This is image was taken yesterday at LCS of Jazi and her mom. Jazi, a white rhino, was born at LCS on December 9, 2008, which also was my father's BDay as well. She is growing fast.

That's not rust on mom's horn. Not sure where it came from, but there may be a carcass laying in the woods someplace. It's not Jazi, as she was up and romping shortly after the photo was taken.

This is a wonderfully designed image; I love the careful framing. I wish only that you had total shade.

Actually Artie, I forgot the honesty statement in the post. I cloned out another partial Rhino on the left border and the fence, behind the Rhinos, running across the center of the image. The area to the left of the mother, from the bottom of her body to the top of the frame is totally cloned, as I'm sure you realized! :D Probably should have made this an "Is it real or is it Memorex" image! ;)

While total shade would have been nice, I've found it hard to get a Rhino to wake up and move over! :D I could have cloned it, but ...

    Thanks for the comment.

LCS= Lion Country Safari in WPB. Favorite retreat when we have to make a quick trip for a photo fix! :D

I like the comp here. Nice contrast between the head on mom and the profiled baby.
