Another image made last weekend while co-instructing at Crandon Park on Key Biscayne. I really like the feeling I get from this image. It provides a sense of connection between myself and the Ibis.
Just a note: Lowering your shooting angle is one of the best ways to create a more dramatic image and generate an emotional connection between your subject, and your audience.
Shooting Solution Camera: Nikon D200

Thanks for looking!
Very nice image Blake. Very good image making tips as well. I can't see anything to suggest except the tip of the beak doesn't appear as sharp as the eye.
Very SWEET image Blake... I see what you mean about the connection.... Really comes through with the level of detail and angle in which it was taken. As said above... BG really makes the bird stand out. Very nice indeed.
Blake,
Very well done.
With the bill tip near the intersecting 3rd's in the lower left of the frame and the placement of the eye near the intersecting 3rd's in the upper right of the frame, the viewer's eye is guided right to the Ibis' face.
