The reason I chose to post this image is because it is seldom you see two different species flying together such as is in this image. There are many things I would like to have had when this image was captured such as a little more light and head turn but still there was something about this capture that caught my eye and I decided to share it as is. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Well spotted Judy. I like the symmetry of their wings, and couldnt you have waited for them to have their legs in sync too. Great exposure on both, especially the egret ( dont know the other one). Looks like the egret wants to share his stick. Well captured.

The interaction is great, where they competing for the same landing spot? I might sharpen the birds a bit more.

Hahaha, it looks more like a clash to me :)

Maybe the air traffic controllers were on a coffee break :)
I'm sure you could lift the EXP a bit since it's a D3 image. Remain to tale a look at it next week.

    Good to catch the moment!

    Judy,
I like the compostion of this image, and admire your reactions to catch this moment. In over 15 hours of standing on the boardwalk at the Farm, I don't remember seeing an opportunity like this. Congratulations.

It was nice to meet you at the Farm.

Very cool capture! The exposure looks very good! I do see a dust spot on the right of the birds heads in the blue about 1" from the edge. Good show!

Judy, I like this a lot. The exposure looks fine on my laptop, and I love the sky and general lighting.

    Really nice.
