    Went after an abstract from this anhinga stock image but sort of like this before I went too far. All work done with different filters in PS, saving and trying a new one.

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

    I can see you're concerned about focus! ;)

    I would try to abstact the bird more. Ocean ripples might help.

    An abstract is the artist's view, so whatever you feel is what you want. I only suggest the above as an alternative to hide the subject a little.

    There are so many things to do in PP for abstracts, that we can't give you a "must do" review.

    I like it though and if you do as well ... that is what counts! ;)

    Alfred, I love everything!! I would just make the heavy outline around the head thinner-but just the head. It looks like he's flying in a snow bubble! Great effect and the colors are fantastic!! Very cool!!(couldn't resist the pun)!!!

    Thanks Mark When I started thought there would be something there for an abstract effect but not really !! Do have to keep track of which filters have been used in case I want to go back :)
