A different type of "wildlife" than one usually sees on this forum. This photo was taken at the base of an Oregon sea stack at low tide. These are Ochre Sea Stars and they come in various shades of orange, purple, and reddish brown. The greenish cylindrical blobs among the sea stars are Giant Green Anemones. When covered by water, they open up and have beautiful green tentacles. 40D, 90mm tilt/shift, 0.8 sec, f/16, ISO 400, polarizer. Comments are welcome.

Hi Alfred. I used the tilt feature on most of the images I took that morning, but I can't remember now if I used it on this particular one. Other than the 500 f/4, the 90 t/s is my favorite lens. :)

    Hey Steve,
Great colors and texture here. They stand out quite nicely given that they have the same texture as their surroundings.

Steve, Been out at Bandon Beach on the Oregon coast a few times and have had the opportunity to shoot these.
It's not easy putting together a good composition of the sea stars in a group but I feel you succeeded in this comp. Good job!!
