    Here is one of a Greater Yellowleg taken few days back. Settings were -

    40D, Sigma 50-500mm @ 191mm
    1/200 sec, f/6.3 Mode: Av Metering: Evaluative Exp comp: -1/3 ISO: 400 Hand held

    C&C will be appreciated.

    Hi Indranil,

    Love the shot, especially the reflection and the blur in the water. Just a quick note that this is a dowitcher, probably a Short-billed Dowitcher.

    Ted is correct on the ID Short-billed Dowitcher !!!

    I like how you got the reflection for making up the small bird in frame Clever and works !!!

    Ted, Al, thanks on the ID. The legs confused me although the reddish below is unlike the Yellowlegs. Btw, here is another blur of the same bird as it flew past me. Settings were -

    40D, Sigma 50-500mm @ 191mm
    1/80 sec, f/6.3 Mode: Av Metering: Evaluative Exp comp: -1/3 ISO: 400 Hand held

    I like the composition, image and capture...I like the reflection and the placement of the bird in frame...well done...:cool:

    I really like the reflection and the blur in the wings. Looks like you have got him in just the right spot in the frame.
