This is the same bird that was in my last post -- but in an obviously different pose. The crop is about 25%. I've tried to "lighten up" the image a wee bit more than before. Enough? Is the shadow on its face and neck distracting? Etc.?

    Hi Wendell

Harsh light and angle are the detractors here Pose is mighty fine !!! Side light makes for some powerful images but difficult to pull !! Whites on the back have little detail and not sure you could have lowered the exposure more and keep the shadow detail !!! ... soft light is the key !!!

Hi Wendell - agree with AL - love the pose, whites are a bit cooked on the back. Not always easy to line that sun angle up.
    Keep them coming :)
