The background at the top overpowers the flight shot. In the best flight shots the bird is either flying parallel to the camera or just a bit toward the camera.

Scott has covered my two main concerns, for the comp I would crop away at least half the vegetation at top. You did nail the exposure, and the sharpness looks good too - I really like the near wing. Nice touch in leaving the grasses in the LLC intact.
