    Great pose; it really highlights the blue of the tail feathers. I might try to open the shadows just a little more. I see some cloning artifacts at the bottom of the perch. And I also see a couple of areas that appear to have a fair amount of noise; it looks like you masked out the bird before noise reducing and included a little of the BG in your mask.

    I like the alert pose as well as the color and exposure of the blues. You might try to brighten up the breast a little. I would wish that the dark areas of the bird didn't blend so much with the dark background. In addition to the artifacts noted by Doug, there are others visible around the tail and along the left side of the bird.

    Nice alert pose that could be a little lighter IMO. Sharp and well composed, congrats!
