You couldn't ask for a nicer pose Stuart; great wing position, nice eye contact, and a slight bank! No blown whites here! And you've got nice detail in the sky. One of your nicer images IMO. I might trim some canvas off the bottom and add a little up top.

Good job on the exposure here, both your whites and darks are well exposed. I love the lighting and pose but I am not sure about the framing. Maybe a horizontal version would be more pleasing.

    Stuart:

Excellent technicals. I tend to agree with Joel and might try a more horizontal version if possible.

    A beauty!

Superb pose and BG. Would prefer a little more room in front.

yes sir... I was just saying a few posts up that I agreed with assesments and then added that the clouds added to the image nicely. :)

Exposure control and details look good. It would have been great to see a bit more of the far wing.

One more vote for a horizontal crop.

Great wing details and position, BG is a dreamy one! Great job on presenting this lovely bird.

Excellent capture, well exposed and sharp. Wish the other wing were visible. Well done!
