I like the lighting both on top and underneath the wing. Very nice detail in the wings and it looks like bits of water dropping from the beak. Nicely presented

I remember this day very well, Estero is always a place to find good subjects.
I like the pose, sharpness and composition. Little branch is a big plus.

Good light Al. Nicely framed too, perhaps a touch tight, but love it as much! :)

Lovely patterns in the juvenile plumage - interesting to see it carrying material - maybe still refining it's fishing technique

Alfred, this is nice and sharp, and I like the detail and light in this. Stands out well against the darker BG.

Love this photo especially the look back and wing position. I've never seen the juvenile of this species.
    Thanks for sharing...

Terrific wing position and eye contact. Love the BG too. The nesting material and water droplets are a big plus. I'd like to see this at 1024 pixels wide and perhaps framed a little more loosely.

Great one Al! I love the pose, nailed to perfection with that slight headturn. The eyecontact here really adds to this photograph. And the nesting material is a very nice addition.
