    Very dramatic Dave. Looks like everything is pretty much in focus except for the very tip? Shows off the hosta flowers very nicely with the black BG. Did you darken the BG?

    Good comp...our hostas are still fighting to get through cold ground.

    Hi Jackie, Most of the backround was as you see it. There were a few minor brighter areas that were taken out.

    Dave ... to do any better you need a tilt/shift lens !!!! Just perfect for me !!!

    Beautiful hosta, Dave. I can't believe you've got them flowering already! I would maybe choose to drop the BG to a little darker tones - especially the top/right section. Small thing but might make the whites even stronger. Lovely as presented.
