    It is definitely RWB week!

    A like your pose and composition, but for me the image is too bright. The background is overpowering, and the epaulet is toasted. Might be interesting to tone it down a bit and see how it goes.

    Hopefully others will give you other opinions.

    Just a quick pass at toning down the brightness a bit, tried to pull back the reds a bit as there was a red color cast, toned down the epaulet a bit. You could do better with the RAW file of course.

    Just an option for you to consider.

    I think the exposure might have been a little over for that light colored patch Ed !!! Sure like the pose and bg, lots of shadow detail and all sharp !!!

    Re post looks better but still a strange look to the light patch in the wing !!! One tough exposure !!!

    I also think the original is overexposed, judging by the patch and the blacks. HAving said that, very nicely composed a great background.

    Other than the exposure issue that has already been discussed, it's quite sharp and I like the perch and pose.
