    Jackie, this is beautiful! I think your composition is perfect - just enough mix of flower and greenery and the space is filled without feeling too closed in.

    Only nit would be to have gotten the stamen more in focus as that is where the eye tends to go first but it's really beautiful as is.

    The pinks in this are perfection! Did you desaturate the image at all or is this the way it appeared in frame?

    Julie I desaturated but the colours I noticed really got richer from the 5 sec. exposure.

    Hi Jackie,

    As Julie mentioned, the composition is great as are the colours. it's a beautiful image. I too think having the stamen in sharp focus would be an improvement. Also having the petals in the foreground slightly OOF might help. As it is, the attention goes to the more sharply focused foreground petals instead of to the stamen which are the natural centre of attention.
