I've looked at this image many times and I like the foreground and waves. Not sure if the pier adds or detracts. Would love to hear other opinions. Canon 5D Mk II, ISO 200, f/4.0. 1/50 sec, Ef24-105mm f/4L, 28mm, Evaluative Metering, Cloudy WB, Auto Exposure, No Flash. Your thoughts would be so appreciated.

Hey Richard. I like the colors and composition of the image. I took the liberty to correct the distortion of the pier using PS Perspective tool. I did it quickly so it might have a few flaws. I think the pier is important to the image. It gives the image an anchor and it also draws your eye out to sea.

You hit it on the head. I knew there was something wrong. I just got the 5D and I forgot that the lenses are much more wide angle and tend to distort the sides. Thanks Dave......

Hi Richard - Love the colours - the repost with the PS work does look better on the pier.
    Like it.
Really like the foreground rocks and sand - might have tried to be creative with those and come up with a differnt composition.
